
Lubbock Police Confiscate Over $38,000 & Marijuana Products
Court records released Monday (June 5) show that the Lubbock Police Department confiscated $38,185 and Marijuana paraphernalia during an arrest last month.
KAMC News reports that Lubbock Police arrested 21-year-old Austin Edward Cooper on May 19th. Originally, officers arrived at Cooper's house for a report of a domestic disturbance. But after searching the home, they charged Cooper with money laundering, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.
Police recorded 44 items confiscated from the home, including: cash, guns, pills, cell phones and marijuana products.
Cooper was released on bond the day after he was arrested, and an indictment against him is still pending.
