Lubbock Man Was in a Sexual Relationship With Missing Missouri Minor

A Lubbock man has pleaded guilty to sending obscene or harassing telecommunications to a 16-year-old girl.

Thirty-year-old Ryan Jonathan Lowrance has admitted that near the end of 2019 or early 2020, he met the girl through a video game they both played. KAMC News reports they both began messaging each other, their relationship eventually becoming sexual.

It's said they both would refer to each other as "Master" and "Slave."

In May 2020, Lowrance allegedly drove to Missouri where the girl lived to pick her up. It's said they spent the night in Oklahoma and had sex several times. The girl stayed with Lowrance for several weeks.

The girl's grandmother reported her as a runaway and was able to provide information about Lowrance that she got from the girl's phone, which she left at home.

Lowrance admitted that he knew the girl was 16 during their relationship.
