Lubbock police are searching for two suspects and a stolen truck after a home invasion left one man bruised and beaten.

According to KAMC News, on Saturday morning (June 22nd) at around 3:40 a.m., two men barged into the home of Thomas Serpa III. One of the men allegedly punched Serpa multiple times and choked him, and he has the bruises on his face to prove it.

He recounted the traumatic assault in an interview with KAMC News, saying: "He was choking me so hard that I couldn't do anything else...I was peeling his fingers back, you know, and I was grabbing him like that, and that's when he would punch again, harder and deeper."

The two men stole Serpa’s wallet, phone, other items, and the keys to his 2008 tan and grey GMC Sierra (license plate 02S-ML7), which they used as a getaway vehicle.

If you see this truck, you're urged to call the Crime Line at 741-1000.
