Twenty-three-year-old Luke Jameson Landon of Lubbock was arrested after running from police in a stolen vehicle the night of July 13th, 2020.

Just after 10 p.m., a Texas DPS trooper noticed a 4-runner on South Loop 289 without its headlights on. The trooper ran the plates and discovered the vehicle was reported as stolen.

The 4-runner exited the Loop and drove to 82nd Street and Quaker Avenue to an apartment complex, and that's when the trooper turned on his lights. This caused the 4-runner to take off.

A Lubbock TV station reports that Landon drove to his parents house near 88th Street and Orlando Avenue, where he was arrested shortly after.

Landon remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on charges of evading in a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
