Lubbock Man Arrested for Sending Inappropriate Texts to Teen Girl
The manager of a Texas favorite restaurant was arrested in Lubbock for some inappropriate text messages sent to an underage employee. KAMC news reports that the mother of a teenage girl who worked with 38-year-old Christopher Gentry states that her daughter had a serious change when it came to her grades and attitude. That's when the girl told her mother that Gentry, who was her manager, had actually made some inappropriate advances via text message.
The mother of the teenage girl later took her daughters phone to message Gentry after discovering that she had been invited over to the 38-year-olds home. The mother then kept text messaging Gentry, as her daughter, to know what his actual intentions were for inviting over her daughter. It was later revealed that Gentry told the girls mother, who was pretending to be her daughter, that he wanted to cuddle and make out with that teenage girl. Gentry was arrested back on April 10 after the teens mother talked to police and had a substantial amount of evidence.
Gentry was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor which is considered a third-degree felony in the State of Texas. As per the publishing of this article, Christopher Gentry is currently still being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $75,000 bond. If Gentry is convicted for that charge he could face two to 10 years in prison while facing a $10,000 fine and will have to register as a sex offender.
