Lubbock, Lovable Clyde Is Your Awesome Adoptable Pet of the Week
Look at Clyde's face! He looks so attentive, calm, and precious. Clyde has many attractive qualities.hHe's described as "sweet and loveable" by Lubbock Animal Services, and his freckles are absolutely to die for. Although Clyde is listed as a "Pit mix," he looks way more like a heeler to me. Again, note those precious freckles.
Clyde has been at the shelter for a long time -- 93 days. It's because he won't settle for less than an only-dog situation. Dogs like that are obviously much harder to place. I think Clyde would be an excellent choice for someone who recently lost their only dog and doesn't want to deal with training a puppy. Clyde is still really young himself at 1, but that skips the worst puppy behavior, like chewing on fingers and the inability to hold in their pee.
Clyde has spent enough of his short life in the shelter. He deserves the chance to grown, learn and thrive with a human or humans of his own. He is up to date on all shots, fixed and microchipped.
Foster-to-adopt is another great option to audition a new fur friend. Even temporary fostering allows animals a chance to get used to life in a home and a break from the hustle and bustle of the shelter.
The Lubbock Animal Services Adoption Center is located at 3323 SE Loop 289 and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. There are many beautiful and deserving dogs and cats waiting to be your best friend for life.
