Lubbock Live: Festival For The Arts is Coming Back in September
The purpose of Lubbock Live Festival For The Arts is to give back to the local arts community. Our goal is to gather the local artists that make our city great in one place to show the citizens of Lubbock just how much art is available in our community. Our mission is to raise awareness for Lubbock citizens who may have been uninformed about the wonderful art happening all around us, while simultaneously giving back to and supporting these artists and ultimately, our city.
Another fun event is back in Lubbock with 26 musical performances, local vendors, food trucks and so much more.
This is the second-ever Lubbock Live Festival and it is happening on September 17th, 2022.
This year will be even bigger and better with 26 local musical performances on 3 different stages, visual artists, dance performances, local vendors, and food trucks.
65% of the profits from this year's event will be donated to the beneficiary for 2022, The East Lubbock Art House. They are a 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization that supports emerging artists and marginalized artists as well as working towards the betterment of the Eastern portion of Lubbock, Texas. They work with artists through exhibition opportunities, give free and/or affordable art classes, and provide art events hosted. Its mission is to "create accessible means to the arts for all individuals and to uplift our Brown and Black neighbors."
