If you're looking for the perfect way to break up your workday and support some of the Hub City’s local businesses at the same time, make sure to head on out to the Food Truck Festival going on tomorrow. The event is in honor of National Small Business Week, which happens the first week of May every year.

This is an annual acknowledgement of the hard work and the amazing contributions that small business owners bring to their communities. The exploration and development of unique ideas and concepts takes a tremendous amount of dedication and grit. Moreover, their success plays a big impact in our local community, so let’s get out and support their industrious work.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, you can peruse an amazing selection of local food trucks in the Furniture Row parking lot. They'll have over a dozen options to choose from, as well as resources for those individuals who are interested in starting up their own enterprise.

Representatives from the Northwest Texas Small Business Development Center, part of Texas Tech University’s Northwest Texas Business Resource Center, will be present to advise budding business owners about the best ways to start and grow their pursuits. In fact, some of their local success stories will be serving their delicious fare at this event. The services are free and the guidance could be the ticket to your future success.
