Lubbock Fire Department Responds To Snow Removal Questions

With all the snow there's plenty of streets that are becoming or already are impassible, so the question is "will the city be cleaning my street?"

Well, here's the simple answer from the Lubbock Fire Department Facebook:

With only two snow plows it will not be possible for the city to remove snow from major thoroughfares and residential streets. These limited resources are being used to keep emergency access clear to hospitals, fire stations, and other critical areas. Another reason to stay home and stay safe.
