Prosecutors to Revoke Lubbock Doctor’s Probation After Parole Violation
A Lubbock doctor was arrested on Friday, February 21st and accused of violating terms of her probation.
Forty-year-old Brianne Nichole Williams admitted to her probation officer that she had used cocaine or heroin in October, November, and December of 2019 and January 2020.
KAMC News reports that Williams pleaded guilty back in October 2018 to obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deception. She was sentenced to 5 years of probation.
Williams' medical license in Texas has been permanently suspended until she requests that it be reinstated. Prosecutors asked that her probation be revoked and that she be ordered to serve a sentence as determined by the court.
