
Lubbock-Cooper Students Exposed to Pepper Spray at After-School YWCA Program
Emergency crews responded to Lubbock-Cooper Elementary School South Friday afternoon after an incident left several kids exposed to pepper spray.
Officials responded around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon, and treated several kids, there was no official number on how many kids were involved. Officials say that the incident occurred during a YWCA sponsored after-school care program.
Lubbock-Cooper released a statement saying that no employees for Lubbock-Cooper were involved in the incident and the matter was resolved within minutes.
