A virtual Community Prayer Gathering in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, has just been announced for Lubbock, this Thursday, April 9th at 9 am according to Everything Lubbock, and the Chamber's Facebook page and press release.

This gathering is hosted via Zoom, to pray for our community and everyone on our frontlines during this crisis.

Here is an inspiring quote from the Chamber's President:

“With everything going on in the world right now there is no better time to come together in prayer,” said Eddie McBride, President and CEO. “Coronavirus has disrupted all of our lives and now is the time to stand together in prayer so we will emerge from this crisis stronger than before. I encourage everyone to join us on Thursday as we pray for our city and those that make Lubbock the best place to live.”

Guest speakers include Mayor Dan Pope and many community and Chamber of Commerce leaders.
