No, we are not on a break. This is really happening.

If you love the show Friends as much as I do, you probably screamed seeing that this is actually coming to Lubbock.

The show will be at the Buddy Holly Hall and is called FRIENDS! The Musical Parody. I didn't even know this is a thing, so I can't wait.

This will be a comedic musical that pokes fun at the hit TV show Friends. While I don't know how the play will actually go, I think it will be a lot of fun if you love the show.

So grab your lobsters (that have mated for life) and loved one and PIVOT on over to see your favorite group of 20-something friends as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.

How you doin' after this news? Because I am FREAKING out.

According to the press release from the Buddy Holly Hall, it looks like the musical parody might unfold just like the show:

It’s a typical day at New York’s only coffee shop, Central Perk, until an unexpected runaway bride enters the picture and kicks the whole gang out of second gear! The musical recreates our favorite moments from all 10 years of Friends through an uncensored, fast-paced, music-filled romp.

The play is recommended for those 13 and older. It happens on February 2nd, 2023 at the Buddy Holly Hall. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, July 22nd, 2022.

Songs from FRIENDS! The Musical Parody include:
• “495 Grove Street – How Can We Afford This Place?”
• “How You Doin’?” – Joey
• “We Were On A Break!” – Ross
• “Oh. My. God. It’s Janice!” – Janice
• “Will They or Won’t They?” – Ross and Rachel
• “The Ballad of Fat Monica”
• “Could I BE Anymore...In Love with You” – Chandler
• “The One Where We Make a Million Dollars an Episode”
• “We’ll Always Be There For You”

Visit this website for more information. You can buy tickets online here and they will range in price from  $29.50 to $49.50 plus taxes and fees.
