Do you love plants or want to learn more about plants? This new spot in Lubbock that is now open can help you do just that.

The Dutch House of Plants is a houseplant boutique. They offer lots of varieties as well as home decor, fertilizers, insecticides, soils and more.

This is definitely a place that I need because I have a black thumb not a green thumb and they will work and help you with what your needs are.

They even can help plant front pots for people’s homes and can special order large pots and planters. Whatever gardening or plant help you need, they have you covered and it is a small local shop.

The owners have a combined experience of over 12 years so education and community will be a big focus. They have several weekly workshops for kids and adults. For example, they have already done events like Cactus by Candlelight, Build-a-Bonsai, Moss Mirror Workshop and more.

Some really cool events I see they have coming soon are Kid's Workshop - Mason Jar Terrarium, Sip and Plant - Wine Bottle, Kid's Workshop - Spider Planter, and a lot more. Prices and age requirements change by event.

You can check them out at 3413 49th Street, Lubbock, TX, or find out more information on their Facebook page. They post every week their restock and new items so you can see what all they have to offer.

You can call them at (806) 252-7333. They are open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
