Friday morning (March 2), Lubbock Police and First Responders were called out to a North Overton neighborhood for a car that had crashed into a house.

Police say that someone loaned out a car about a week ago and it was never returned.

KAMC News reports the owner of the missing car was with a friend and spotted the car that was loaned out. The owner followed the vehicle, and after a short time, the suspect crashed the vehicle into a home in the 2100 block of Glenna Goodacre Boulevard. The suspect then fled the scene.

The video above was provided to KFYO News by Linda Franco, who was at work when the accident happened.

No injuries were reported, and as of Friday afternoon, the suspect has not been located.
