Last-Minute Plans: What to Do in Lubbock on Friday, Dec. 2nd, 2022
After a busy week, it sounds great to go out with friends and have a good time. However, its already Friday, and you still don't have any set plans. What ever will you do?
Don’t fret, that’s why you’re here. Here is a fun plan for you and your friends to do tonight, December 2nd, 2022.
Of course, because it is the first Friday of this month, you have to check out the First Friday Art Trail (FFAT). If you check out the trail each month and want to do something a bit different, there is a FFAT event happening just down the street from CASP that you don’t want to miss.
The hair studio and gallery Rock Paper Shears is a hidden gem that hosts their own FFAT event each month. It is located at 1103 Main Street, and will be hosting a variety of vendors from 6-9 p.m. Alongside some amazing vendors, there will be art to look at and purchase from several resident artists, including prints, curated antiques, metal design, and more.
You can stop by, have a glass of wine, look at beautiful art, and even get a Tarot card reading all in one place. After exploring what they have to offer, you can head over to Two Docs Brewing or CASP for all of their wonderful FFAT events.
If the FFAT isn’t your scene, Texas Tech will be hosting its annual Carol of the Lights ceremony that starts at 7:00 in Memorial Circle. It is a beautiful event that you have to see if you haven’t already. You can find more information about the event here.
