The Lady Raiders have played Kansas twice this season and split with the 10th seeded Jayhawks with both teams winning their home games by 17. Now, the Lady Raiders will play Kansas at 8:30 on Thursday in the second game of the Women's Big 12 Tournament. The 7th seed is the program's best seed in the past seven seasons.

The Lady Raiders won three of their last five to lock in the 7th seed and would play TCU if they beat Kansas. A team they've beaten twice this season. If the Lady Raiders can string a couple more wins together to end this season they would be knocking on the door of some post-season tournament. Maybe not the NCAA but a couple more games in March are important no matter where they are played.
