Lady Antebellum have shared another new song with fans: "This City" is the fourth song released in advance of the trio’s new album Heart Break, out June 9.

Unlike their third release, "Somebody Else’s Heart," which focuses on turbulent love, “This City” launches Lady A back into love gone right. Its playful, positive imagery revolves around a couple in a busy city full of lights and distractions, but the only thing the lovers are truly focusing on is each other:

"White noise playing on the boulevard / Same cover band in the same old bar. … Midnight smoke floating in the air / A million faces everywhere …But tonight / It feels like just you and me.”

The group then launches into a flashy chorus, which portrays a universality that puts the listener on the Las Vegas strip, Times Square in New York or any other fast-paced nightlife scene:

“Street lights on fire / Couldn’t get much higher / This city never looked so good the way it's looking so good on you / Your hands in my jacket / Caught up in this magic / This city never looked so good / The way it's looking so good on you.”

Production is pop-infused, most likely a credit to buzzworthy producer busbee, whom Lady A hired to work on their 13-song Heart Break project. It’s the group’s first album since taking a break of nearly a year for members Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood to pursue other interests.

The album’s first single “You Look Good,” title track “Heart Break” and “Somebody Else’s Heart” were also previously released in anticipation of the new album.
