Kane Brown's recently released "Weekend" is a slower song with a healthy dose of R&B influence and plenty of love. As he has done with several of his previous releases, Brown teased the new track on social media for several days before officially putting it out, treating fans to small snippets of the music. Now that the wait is over, readers can press play above to listen to the full track.

"Weekend" tells a romantic story about Brown waiting all week just for the weekend, so that he can finally relax and unwind with his girl. Brown sings about all the things that they will do during their time together: "Just chillin' on the weekend, weekend / Sippin' something on the cheap end, cheap end," he sings, describing a perfect mini-vacation romance.

"Skinny dippin' in the deep end, deep end / Or bass fishin' with your feet in, feet in / Up all night then we sleepin', sleepin' / But we were never really sleepin', sleepin' / Tangled up in the sheets in, sheets in / Goose bumps just a creepin', creepin' / Yeah, we chillin' on the weekend / Just chillin' on the weekend."

In early June Brown announced that he will be releasing a new album, set for release on Nov. 9. An official name for the album has not been released, but more information about the project can be found here as well as one Brown's website.

"Weekend" is available for purchase now.
