Traveling can be such a hassle these days! Your flight could get canceled, and even if you do get on board, you never know what shenanigans someone will pull that will further delay your trip!

Now that the summer traveling season is dying down, I know many are starting to plan their holiday trips to visit family or friends. Before you book that flight, maybe take into consideration this survey that revealed the worst cities in the United States to travel to.

Now, we're not saying that you should completely avoid these cities- obviously you can do what you want, but let's look at the data.

According to a survey that was conducted by SurveyMonkey on behalf of The Vacationer, in the top 34 cities Americans should avoid traveling to at all costs, three Texas cities make the list.

In the survey of 1,020 Americans, these are the Texas cities they voted as "must-avoids".

At number 8 on the list is Austin.

Out of those surveyed, 15.42% agreed that Austin should be avoided when traveling.

At number 10 is Dallas.

14.34% of those surveyed say don't travel to Dallas!

And coming in at number 13 is Houston.

The survey revealed that 13.16% think you shouldn't travel to Houston.

The 34 cities in the survey were chosen by a combination of population size and visitor popularity to get a variety of major US cities across the country. Then, participants were asked which of these cities they avoid traveling to at all costs.

Again, it's not saying you shouldn't travel there, but if you do, plan ahead!
