If you are like me and a big fan of Dr. Pepper, well Diet Dr. Pepper but still a fan, then maybe you should consider a stay in the "Dr. Pepper House" in Waco. Who knew there was such a thing? I do and I'm passing the info on to other true Dr. Pepper fans now.

Back in 1885, a man by the name of Wade Morrison is credited with putting together the 23 mystery flavors that make up Dr. Pepper, and the same year built the famed "Dr. Pepper House."

The house was renovated in the early 2000s and has been operating as an Airbnb since the beginning of 2021 after it went up for sale in September 2020.

Jed Cole is the owner of this particular Airbnb and has enjoyed the influx of people and groups that have stayed at their house.

He doesn't believe people are necessarily staying because it is the "Dr. Pepper House" initially but he thinks it may be the reason why they come back.

"I love meeting all these people, it's really fun, and it's a fun way to get to represent Waco well," said Cole. "We hope that people leave with a good taste in their mouths about what our town has to offer and what kind of people live here."

Keep in mind that a stay at the Dr. Pepper House will set you back $1,000 to $2,500 per night depending on availability, according to Mr.Cole. It is in a great location close to downtown Waco, the Magnolia Silos, and a wide variety of restaurants.

Some of the amenities you can enjoy if you book a stay are a game room, along with a huge backyard with a spectacular pool, hot tub, and cabana.

Check this out, for the Dr. Pepper fanatic, yes, they have plenty of Dr. Pepper on hand and it is free of charge while you enjoy your stay.
