The Pros and Cons of Sharing Your Location

Like many people I have my location shared with some of my close friends and family just as a precaution incase something would ever happen. The downside to giving people access to your location is they may use it in the way Ramirez did out of paranoia that he was not where he said he was. It is an honestly mistake that ended up costing her in the long run.

While most of the time tracking apps provide a pretty accurate location, there is always a chance that it is slightly off. In this case you could argue it was more than slightly off. While it sent her to the wrong house, at least she was not sent to a strangers house that would have had intentions of harming her.

An Honest Mistake With Very Real Consciences

Ramirez's believed she was seeing her boyfriend's movements in real time but later realized she had mistakenly targeted the wrong residence.

Following her arrest, Brenda Nathalie Ramirez was booked into the Carrizalez Rucker Detention Center, where she awaits arraignment.
