Amarillo’s Future Workforce Gathers at the 2026 AmTech Career Fair

It's a big day in Amarillo when the future workforce of Amarillo gathers. A day for students to apply for potential jobs in their future careers.

2026 AmTech Career Fair: Date, Time, and Location

The 2026 AmTech Career Fair is coming up on Friday, March 6th, from 8 am - 4 pm at the  AmTech Career Academy, 3601 Plains Blvd.

Over 4,500 students will ascend to the AmTech facility, armed and ready to interview for a potential new job.  This event will be a win for these eager students and those employers who are looking for a fresh crop of employees.

While most job fairs are for a few hours, this job fair is a full day, giving those students who have to attend classes a chance to work around their schedules.

Meet Students From All Nine AmTech Schools

AmTech has 9 different schools, and students from each will be coming looking for future employment.

• School of Animal Science
• School of Architecture, Construction, and Manufacturing
• School of Business, Marketing and Finance
• School of Culinary Arts
• School of Law and Public Service
• School of Media Arts
• School of Medical Arts
• School of STEM and Information Technology
• School of Transportation

These students are ready for a career, and they are workforce-ready.

The students are coming, and all that awaits is your business or organization.  Keep in mind you will be talking with students still in high school.

Come to the event ready to interact with games, hands on activies, or items that students can take with them. Make sure you are approachable and remember, this may be the first time students have experienced a job fair and talking with potential employers.  Come ready with internships, entry-level roles, and student mentorships

Keep in mind these are students looking for their first big job in the career of their choice, so their resumes may not be polished, or their attire perfect.  But they will be ready to impress you and find the job of their dreams.
