WARNING! Lubbock Police Warn Of New Scam

A new scam is taking place in Lubbock and the Lubbock Police Departments wants to make you aware of what is going on.
According to a post on Facebook on Friday, the scam involves a person pretending to be a Lubbock Police Officer. The individual involved in the scam is identifying themselves as Keith Bryan and has a badge number of 590.
The person doing this is calling Lubbock residents and telling them they owe the City of Lubbock money. The Lubbock Police Department says there is no Keith Bryan who works as an officer for the Lubbock Police.
Lubbock Police say to ignore the phone call if you get one.
