There is a new millionaire in Texas.

No one won the Powerball jackpot over the weekend of $381 million dollars. But that doesn't mean there weren't some winners. In fact, one Texan got very lucky by playing an option that won them even a larger prize than they would have initially won.

A Powerball ticket sold in San Antonio matched five winning numbers along with the Power Play according to officials with the Texas Lottery. Normally, matching five numbers but not the Powerball number would mean a $1 million dollar prize. But because the winner in Texas paid extra for the Power Play feature meaning his winnings were doubled. Not bad.

Other Texas players won prizes of $50,000 and $150,000. A ticket sold in Massachusetts won $1 million according to the Star-Telegram.

The winning numbers were 12, 28, 33, 36, and 54. The Powerball number was 5.

The winning ticket in Texas was reportedly sold at a QuickTrip in San Antonio.

Powerball Jackpot Increases for Monday

The last time someone won the Powerball jackpot was in January when a player in Oregon won $329 million.

Because no one won the jackpot over the weekend, there will be another drawing on Monday, March 17. The estimated grand prize is $398 million.

Powerball is played in 45 states as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. In order to win the full jackpot, a player has to match all five white balls along with the red Powerball.

Texans have only won the Powerball jackpot twice. There have been 16 Powerball jackpot winners in Florida and Pennsylvania.
