It's the most anticipated game of the year in Lubbock, maybe the most anticipated game in years in fact for Texas Tech Football as #9 Texas Tech hosts #8 BYU. This weekend, Jones AT&T Stadium will be rocking and some Texas Tech students are already gearing up to party.

Texas Tech Students Begin to Camp Out

As excitement builds towards Saturday morning's kickoff, some Texas Tech students have already started camping out at Jones AT&T Stadium so they can get the seat they want or be one of the first around the College Gameday set.

According to KAMC, tents, folding chairs, and of course good vibes have been seen around the entrance to Jones AT&T Stadium. Students began camping out as soon as it became clear that Gameday was heading to Lubbock.

Students camping out adds to the spirit and to the atmosphere of the upcoming game on Saturday, and the tents will continue to grow in number throughout the week.

College Gameday Setting Up at Texas Tech

We are supposed to learn later in the week where ESPN's College Gameday will be setup. One thing is for sure, Lubbock and the students at Texas Tech are fired up about this team and the game on Saturday.
