We are just weeks away from a new college football season and for Texas Tech, things are still looking up. On Monday, the Red Raiders found out that after ending the season with a four game winning streak, it's more than just fans who think this Red Raider team is a top team.
On Monday the preseason USA Today AFCA Coaches Poll was released and Texas Tech was listed in the Top-25. Tech was slotted at number 24 in the nation. According to a press release from Texas Tech, this is the first time since 2008 that the Red Raider Football Team has been ranked in the Coaches or AP Preseason Polls.
Texas Tech kicks off the season in Wyoming on September 2 at 6:30 p.m.
