As Texas' summer continues there is still plenty of time to grab that fishing pole and hit an area lake, pond, or river. There are plenty of fish to catch, you just need to know where they are biting.

Texas has so many great places to fish. Of course, for many of us it comes down to travel time and how long you can get away for. Many Texans have their favorite spots to fish and know it like the back of their hand while others want to take on new adventures.

And no matter how good you are at fishing, sometimes it can help to have a little extra information about where you are casting that line. That's why the Texas Parks and Wildlife and their release of the Fishing Report is so great.
