How do you start your day? For many, if not most, it's with a hot cup of coffee and over the weekend that one cup in the morning may turn into 3 or 4 cups. And not only do we enjoy our morning coffee, but many people seem to have a mug or two that they consider their favorite mug.

I know there is always I mug I reach for first at our house, even at my parents house and in-laws, I have a favorite mug.

Over the weekend, we asked listeners to show off their favorite mugs and you didn't disappoint. Some listeners showed off mugs that have been around since the 70's, other mugs that were fairly new purchases. Some had more that one mug they wanted to show off, and many had a story behind their favorite mug. Some mugs even came from giveaways.

Below you see a collection of our favorite mugs from those that were submitted by listeners. You could say, these were our favorite mug shots from over the weekend.

None of the mug shots were boring, that's for sure.

And while everyone has their favorite mug, many of us still look for even a better mug than our current favorite. It's especially true if you collect coffee mugs.
