New Ice Cream Shop Coming to Lubbock This Year

If you are a fan of ice cream, you will love this news. A new ice cream shop is coming to Lubbock, and there is a good chance it will be really something new to you.

Southwest Lubbock to Get New Ice Cream Shop

According to a Facebook post, a new ice cream shop called Millie's is coming to Lubbock this year. It will be located in the shopping center at 11421 Slide Road. According to the post, construction is supposed to begin this month and wrap up in March.

What is Millie's Ice Cream Shop?

According to their website, Millie's began in 2014 in the kitchen of the owner who just wanted a new career. Millie's began as an ice cream delivery service and then transitioned to a food truck, local stores in Pennsylvania, and then franchising. It appears as though Lubbock will be the first location for Millie's in Texas.

Millie's also has a lot of flavors to choose from. From Vanilla to Cranberry Crumble and one that is called "The Standard".
