Eat Like a Pig

The holidays are here and that means to grab all your loved ones and squeeze them tight until they squeal, like a pig? This year one particular squealing critter got out and was found wandering the streets of Lubbock but this pig in the city is looking for a home. There is no update on if the pig found a home but it was very much a cutie and I could very much eat like a big this upcoming February. That's because the annual Lions Club Pancake festival has announced when they will firing up those griddles. This event is known as the worlds biggest pancake festival and is all you can eat with over 6,000 pounds of pancake batter being made.

Paws Off

This is the week to get your eat on but that does that mean being extra careful when making your turkey. Lubbock Fire Rescue held a live demonstration of what could happen if you don't take the proper precautions this Thanksgiving when frying a turkey. You could take a safer route and instead cook a meal for your pet this Thanksgiving. Obviously just save yourself the trouble and order one of United Supermarkets ready to heat holiday meals since today is the last day to order for Thanksgiving. Also don't forget the sauce, especially if you're from Lubbock, because one sauce hitting the table is from right here in the Hub City so try some Big Wick's for Thanksgiving.

And Now The Mugshots

These 45 mugshots are of individuals arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center during the week of November 13 - November 19, 2023.
