What is the Hub City Beach Party?

FosterALife is bringing the 20th Annual Hub City Beach Party to the Depot Patio on Saturday, August 2nd, and it’s shaping up to be bigger and better than ever! This all-out summer bash benefits children in the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services—kids who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned—and supports FosterALife’s mission of boosting self-esteem and opportunity for some of our area’s most vulnerable youth.

What's the Scoop?

The fun starts at 6:00 p.m., and the legendary Landsharks will hit the stage at 7:00 p.m. These guys have been the musical heart of the Beach Party since day one, and they always deliver a high-energy, crowd-pleasing show that has people dancing barefoot in the sand.

Oh, and yes—there will be sand. In fact, the Depot Patio will once again transform into Lubbock’s only beach for the night, complete with umbrellas, water features, and even sharks! (The friendly inflatable kind, don’t worry.)

Along with the music and the beach vibes, attendees can enjoy food for purchase, a live and silent auction, and the return of the fan-favorite raffle, featuring two $1,350 gift cards to United Supermarkets as grand prizes. Raffle tickets are $10 each, 3 for $25, or 12 for $100.

How Do I Attend?

🎟️ Advance tickets are just $20 and available at all Select-A-Seat locations. Tickets will be $25 at the gate. You can also grab yours by calling the FosterALife office at (806) 792-3181 or emailing fosteralife@att.net.

This year also marks FosterALife’s 21st anniversary. Since 2004, my friend Dr. Shaun Keel and the team have helped thousands of children in Lubbock and 17 surrounding counties by funding services, experiences, and resources that the state simply can’t provide.
