It's the Fifth Anniversary
This upcoming season marks the fifth anniversary of the “Broadway at The Buddy Holly Hall” series, and they’re celebrating in true theatrical style — with four Lubbock Broadway premieres and a lineup that rivals anything you’ll see in New York.
Let’s Talk Headliners!
🎭 “Water for Elephants” is making its Lubbock debut — a visually stunning and emotional new musical that The New York Times calls “gorgeously imaginative.” If you cried during the book or film, bring tissues.
🎭 “Mrs. Doubtfire” swings into town with high-energy numbers and heartfelt laughs, based on the beloved Robin Williams classic.
🎭 "Blue Man Group" — the iconic trio of bald and blue performers — is bringing their world tour to the Hub City. Part comedy, part concert, and part mind-blowing experience, this show blends music, art, and tech to remind us all what it means to be human. Get ready to laugh, connect, and see the world with fresh eyes.
🎭 “Hadestown” — the winner of eight Tony Awards and a Grammy — is finally coming to the Hub City. If you don’t know the story of Orpheus and Eurydice set to folk and jazz, get ready to be blown away.
🎭 "The Music Man" — Meredith Willson’s six-time Tony Award-winning musical — marches into Lubbock with big brass, fast talk, and a whole lot of heart. Follow slick salesman Harold Hill as he cons River City into forming a boys’ band... only to be transformed by the town librarian. With classics like “Seventy-Six Trombones” and “Till There Was You,” this timeless favorite hits all the right notes for the whole family.
🎭 “Clue” — yes, based on the hilarious 1985 film and the iconic Hasbro board game — brings murder, mystery, and mayhem to the stage.
