Stranger Lubbock: Millie Bobby Brown and Bon Jovi Rep the LBK

I got to thank my friend and co-worker at our sister station Kelsee Pitman for pointing this out to me.  Before we get into the actual article - let me give Kelsee a little plug - if love the latest in country and great local info check out her show on Lonestar 99.5 from 3pm to 7pm.  I know it is the same time as my show, but what the heck lol.

Ok, if you are fan of the Netflix hit "Stranger Things," Millie Bobby Brown (who plays Eleven on the hit show), Jon Bon Jovi's son Jake or pop culture in general you may know that Jake and Millie are engaged to be married.

And just in case you were wondering, Millie Bobby Brown told the Today Show her famous father-in-law to be, Jon Bon Jovi won't be performing her wedding...

"I feel like that's asking me to go and do like a full-on play for everyone (at my wedding), I think the man needs a break."

So now that that is cleared up let's get to the Lubbock connection...

Well, the young couple appeared on Millie Bobby Brown's Instagram recently with a up close shot of their faces.  After a quick glance, it looks pretty normal.  But wait...look again... Jake is sporting a Lubbock-based hat.  To be clear, the hat is representing R&T Truck Lines, Inc. in Lubbock.  The question is how did he get this hat?!

I am on it.  I have called the number on hat.  No response so far.  Could be a thrift shop buy or a personal friend.  I'm determined to find out so check back for updates.
