Bark in the Park: Enjoy a Texas Tech Baseball Game with Your Dog
If you are the kind of person that loves binging their dog with them wherever you go, and you are a Texas Tech baseball fan, you don’t want to miss this event.
Tuesday, April 4th at 6:30 p.m., Tech is going up against ACU at the Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. This is a special game where Tech fans can bring their dog with them to enjoy the game.
Bark in the Park is an annual event open to anyone to enjoy. All you need is a ticket for the owner and your dog gets in for free with a signed waiver.
The waiver must be submitted for your dog to join you at the game and includes contact information for the owner, a description of your dog, and proof of recent vaccinations. In order to avoid any other animals being put at risk, any dogs that are not up to date on their vaccines will not be allowed in.
There will be a specific GA seating section designated for owners with their dogs as well as a section where dogs are not allowed so any Tech fans with allergies or fears regarding dogs can still enjoy the game.
If your dog is fully vaccinated, well behaved on a leash, and friendly to humans and other dogs, this is a great event for them. You can find more information on whether or not your dog will be a good fit for this event, as well as what amenities will be provided for your dog here.
