25 Lb Weight Plate Thrown at Woman Out of Jealousy

Gym rats beware: there’s more than one way to be sore after working out. A woman working out at a 24 Hour Fitness in Houston, Texas, was taken to jail after causing the craziest scene fueled by jealousy.

The woman, identified as Aralyn Martinez, was working out at the gym when she spotted someone she recognized. Officials say the person Martinez recognized was someone she knew her partner was involved with. This instantly enraged her, leading to a confrontation in the middle of the gym.

The suspect grabbed a 25-pound weight plate and confronted the other woman with just one message:

Sure enough, true to her word, Martinez threw the 25-pound plate at the woman’s head.

Police were called and arrested Martinez. She was taken to Harris County Jail and charged with aggravated assault.

The real question is, did Martinez forgive her partner? It takes two to tango, and I think sometimes jealousy takes over, and people forget that. If her partner really was seeing another woman, he’s just as big a problem.
