The RockShow is #1 in Lubbock again, and there isn’t a second — not a breath — when we aren’t grateful for this rare and wonderful gift. We know exactly who we are in the grand circus of morning radio, and we know exactly who put us here: you.

Most morning shows lean on tired formulas — weird interpersonal dynamics, divorced DJs giving relationship advice (puke!), fake prank calls, or the never-ending sludge of celebrity gossip (double puke). The RockShow has always taken a different road. We’re a comedy morning show. I’ll never label myself a comedian, but my partner absolutely is, while I proudly hold the title of “jackass-in-charge.” We take big swings, we miss big, and honestly? A joke that crashes and burns is twice as funny to us as one that actually lands. That’s part of the fun, and part of the honesty.

What we do take seriously is the part where we wear our hearts on our sleeves. We avoid politics except for one simple belief: everyone deserves a fair shot at a good life. If that’s controversial, then we’re probably not your show — and that’s okay. But if that resonates with you, then welcome home.
