Ever moved in next to a total nightmare?
You usually don't get the chance to meet your neighbors until you've already signed a lease and moved in your furniture. Unfortunately, all Lubbock neighbors are NOT created equally.
Some are adorable little old ladies who wouldn't bother a fly.
Others are not.
Scroll through this list of things that make you a bad neighbor in Lubbock, so you'll know what you need to work on, or if you're a perfect angel.
10 THINGS THAT MAKE YOU A BAD LUBBOCK NEIGHBOR
1. Letting Your Weeds Take Over
Does your yard look like a scene out of Jumanji? People notice.
2. Never Waving Back
It's not hard to smile and wave. You don't have to actually like the person to do it. Just do it. Jeez.
3. Dumpster Hogging
If you constantly fill the shared alley dumpster to the brim, everyone on your block hates you. Fyi.
4. Parking Like The Street Belongs To You
You've got a massive truck. We know. We get it. Move it.
5. Blasting Music After 11 pm.
Some would say "after 10 pm."
I'm giving you an entire extra hour.
It's time to go to bed.
NOW.

6. Letting Your Dog Bark 24/7
A few barks are normal. Barking all night and all day means you're probably neglecting it, and we don't take kindly to people who mess with animals. Do something.
7. Borrowing Stuff And Never Returning It
You'd better bring those hedge trimmers back.
8. Ignoring Trash
Just because it blew over into your yard from the street doesn't mean you can't throw it away before it makes the journey to your neighbor's yard. Be more proactive and less lazy.
9. Driving Too Fast Near Kiddos
If you're always hauling ass down a residential street, everyone hates you, and there isn't much you can do to redeem yourself at this point. Stop before you kill someone, please, you total butthead.
10. Never Taking The Time To Introduce Yourself
We don't have to be best friends, but come on! We share a tree between our yards. We could at least share a convo every once in a while.
