A high-speed chase in Florida last Saturday, March 15th, 2025, led to the discovery of a 16-year-old girl who was previously reported missing in Texas.

Police deputies spotted a car they believed to be associated with the missing teen in the parking lot of Dublin Pavilion, a shopping center in St. Johns, Florida, a suburb of Jacksonville.

19-year-old Jesus Esteban Arellano was driving the vehicle. He sped away as deputies approached, prompting their pursuit, which quickly became a high-speed chase. Deputies were forced to use the precision immobilization technique, also known as the PIT maneuver, pushing the car into a spin before it stopped.

You'll find a video of the dramatic chase below:

Arellano, who was already wanted by Texas authorities for five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, was given the additional charge of fleeing law enforcement as well as providing a false name without a driver's license.

Luckily, no one was injured in the pursuit. No other details have been released at this time.
