Two Lubbock restaurants, a health and nutrition store, and three food trucks passed their health inspections with flying colors this week.

The Shack BBQ

The Shack BBQ located at 2309 N Frankford Ave (pictured above) is a favorite at our studios, and a top performer this week. The Shack BBQ was featured in Texas Monthly for its delicious eats and meats. Follow The Shack on Facebook to see their daily offerings. Pro Tip: The Shack BBQ is BYOB so bring a couple and save a few bucks over restaurant beer prices.

Chipotle

Chipotle, located at 2912 W Loop 289, passed its health inspection with flying colors. Chipotle is a great option for high-protein to-go bowls, along with other Mexican grill favorites. Extra guac, please!

Powerhouse Nutrition

Powerhouse Nutrition at 4134 19th St is a health and nutrition store that specializes in protein powders and bars, workout supplements, hydration, and more. They passed their health inspection as a top performer this week.

Godfather’s Pizza

Anderson’s Grill

Congratulations to every top performer who kept their establishment clean and in compliance. Food safety is a high priority for me and many Lubbock folks. It's a huge deciding factor when I choose where to eat.
