Every East Texas town has its own vibe, local landmarks and little quirks that make it special. Spend enough time traveling around the region, and you'll quickly realize that no two towns are exactly alike. And with new people moving to East Texas all the time, I figured it was time to put together an unofficial starter pack for some of our favorite towns.

It's important to know what is going on in each town, because locals take pride in many of these things. Sure, some of them are almost stereotypes and we can laugh about them, but it's still something that makes that town stand out from the rest.

As we look through the list below, remember to not take this too seriously as it was put together to have a little fun. Although, I think you're going to agree with most of the things you see on the list below.

There are certain towns that have specific landmarks they take pride in, others will complain more about traffic, but it's important to remember that we are still very fortunate to live in beautiful East Texas.
