With gas prices on the rise, I try to always keep an eye out for prices.

According to GasBuddy, which tracks gas price information at more than 150,000 gas stations across the United States, gas prices are 50% higher than they were a year ago.

I get so mad when I see a low cost and I don't go because I am too lazy. I try to learn patterns and price changes so I know when the best time is to fill up.

I was driving down 82nd on Saturday night and noticed that this price just didn't seem to add up.

With all the Valeros being taken down to be different gas stations there is a lot of competition but this one isn't really competing, it is winning. See below.

I don't even know what you would call that price, a ninth of a penny? That seems pretty not smart to me. I could fill up in under one dollar, right?

I am just playing with y'all this is obviously not the right price but I should have checked if the pumps were working and break the system. Maybe it will?

But if you really are looking to save on gas I really think the best website or app for that is GasBuddy or AAA mobile App.

According to experts the best time to fill up on your gas is early in the morning or late at night. So fuel contracts when it gets cold outside, meaning if you fill up in the morning or at night when it is cold, you will get more gas for your money.

According to GasBuddy, the worst day to buy gas is Thursday and the best is Sunday.
