What Animal Is This Hanging Out on the Roof of a Lubbock Home?

The photos were taken in a relatively new development on 98th street in Lubbock and have sparked a lot of debate over exactly what animal is seen on the home's roof.

From this vantage point, it appears this animal is not stuck on the roof; it actually seems quite content. It almost seems to be relaxing and enjoying the sun.

One of the residents was wondering if it was a cat, but the mother and daughter who provided us with the pictures came to the conclusion it was a fox.

The homeowners weren't sure how the fox could even get up there, but foxes are known for being very agile and able to climb trees. So a roof probably isn't so difficult.
