Canaan Smith Talks Taste of Country Christmas Tour [Interview]

Canaan will be here November 20 at Wild West for this year's show. We caught up with the singer to talk about the upcoming show and his past tour experiences with some of country's biggest artists.

We talked to Canaan about touring with Dierks Bentley, his new album, the live show and joining fans at their "stompin' grounds."

This year marks the singer's first headlining tour -- something he describes as "very rewarding."

"It's been a long-time dream of mine to get out there and have a full-length set," Smith said. "My fans, my show, this is the first run at that."

Smith had high praise for Dierks Bentley coming off their tour together, noting that he learned a lot from him.

"It was phenomenal. Dierks has always been one of my heroes," he said. "He's just a great guy, really good example of what it means to be a headliner."
