Husband Accused of Hitting Wife With Peanut Butter Sandwich

The situation a Florida married couple found itself in was stickier than the sandwich at the center of it all.

A 24-year-old woman told police her husband hit her in the face with a peanut butter sandwich while they fought over money.

A police report specifies that when an officer arrived at the house, the wife “still had some peanut butter on the side of her face and in her hair.”

The woman said she contacted police because she feared the argument would get more violent. The husband, meanwhile, claims his better half actually hit him.

No one was injured in the peanut butter flap and no one was arrested, leaving the couple nothing more than “bread-faced” over the matter.
