Most West Texans have missed Blue Bell ice cream something fierce. But what this guy did the first day of Blue Bell's return to Lubbock has to be seen.

Monday, Dec. 14 marked the Texas-based ice cream company's return to West Texas after around eight months following a voluntary recall. And it's been a long eight months.

By the time we got to the store at around 1 p.m., the freezers were mostly bare with only a few half-gallon cartons remaining. Some flavors were completely sold out, and others were well on their way.

That only spurred on Justin, who's our Digital Managing Editor, to dig in. And yes, he did buy that half-gallon and bring it home. It's probably already gone. But can you blame him?
