Getting Sassy & Saucy at Wing Daddy’s Sauce House in Lubbock [REVIEW]
For my birthday, I wanted to go someplace I had never been before in Lubbock. After looking at their extensive and delicious looking menu, I landed on Wing Daddy's Sauce House (7706 Milwaukee Ave). I was NOT disappointed.
Let's skip right to the meat of the matter: How are the wings? SO GOOD.
We tried the blackberry habenero sauce on the boneless wings. It was perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I plan on making many more trips to try all of their many flavors. Which brings me to my next point.
There ARE many flavors of everything. Whether you want a burger, a sandwich or a specialty drink, there's a lot to try. We went on Taco Tuesday and had really yummy (and very affordable) street-style tacos with shrimp and pulled pork.
The specialty drinks are absolutely ridiculous, and I am here for it. I got the Loopy-Worm-A-Rita, and my boyfriend got the Sharkey Blue Hawaiian. They were really good, plenty boozy, and yes, they had plenty of candy in them as well.
I casually mentioned it was my birthday, and the very sweet server brought me out an enormous piece of tasty chocolate cake. I was impressed with the sheer magnitude of the thing.
The service was swift and friendly. Our food came out quick, fresh and hot. And the drinks are just FUN in a schooner. Check out the gallery to see pics of what I'm raving about.
