Eric Church Reveals the 2019 Double Down Tour
Eric Church just announced his 2019 tour plans. The Double Down Tour will literally double down on the three-hour sets from the 2016-17 Holdin' on Tour.
That means two nights (Friday and Saturday) in each city he plays, 19 cities total. Church will perform unique shows both nights, for three hours each, he says. Tour dates can be found below.
"We take over your f---ing city," Church said during a Facebook Live video on Friday morning. The 2019 Double Down Tour is his first significant tour in 18 months, although he played select shows like Taste of Country Festival in 2018. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Oct. 5. Church's Church Choir fan club members can get them early.
Church's Desperate Man album drops on Oct. 5. The new studio album features the title track (a current Top 20 single) and several other songs that he's been releasing to fans in the weeks leading up to release. "Some of It," "Hangin' Around," "Heart Like a Wheel" and "Monsters" are four he's shared that can be previewed or listened to in full.
