What's sure to be a stunning and spectacular show is also a 25th anniversary celebration. Cirque du Soleil OVO, with its amazing and incredible circus performances and beautiful costumes, takes the stage at Lubbock's United Supermarkets Arena March 8-12.

Nicholas Razonia, Cirque du Soleil OVO's publicist, stopped by the Lonestar 99.5 FM studio this week to share a sneak peek. And he brought with him some hand-sewn costumes that are even more remarkable close up.

"It takes between 40-70 hours to make these costumes, all handmade in our workshops in Montreal and custom for every artist," Razonia said.

There is a costume display at the South Plains mall. It's set up so that you are able to take a selfie with the costumes, and when you use the #OVOLubbock for your selfie, you have a chance to win tickets to the show.

"OVO means 'egg' in Portugese," Razonia explained. "You'll feel a lot of Brazilian inspiration in the show."

The OVO story takes us into a beautiful bug's world, which includes romance, music, spectacular circus performances and much more.

The performers have practiced many hours over many years on a daily basis to be able to accomplish the jaw-dropping art that you'll see with Cirque du Soleil.

You can purchase tickets and get more information on their website, Cirquedusoleil.com/ovo.
