Charles Kelley Pranks Darius Rucker With Fake Snake [Watch]
Pranking is a symbol of true friendship, and Charles Kelley got Darius Rucker good during a recent round of golf.
Kelley and Rucker took a break from the co-headlining Summer Plays On Tour and hit the golf course in Phoenix, Ariz. when the Lady Antebellum singer and friend Jeff Fujimoto decided to pull a prank on his close pal and couldn't help but share the fun with his many Instagram followers.
in a nutshell: Rucker is not a fan of snakes, and Kelley decided to capitalize on this fear by scaring him with a fake reptile. The video shows Kelley walking up behind Rucker—and as Rucker goes to put his club back in the golf cart, he notices the fake, brown-spotted toy snake Kelley has left on the ground in front of him.
Lest anyone think this was cruel, it was all in good fun, as Rucker lets out his signature giggle as he runs away...but not without shouting a few expletives first!
The "If I Told You" singer was a good sport about the whole scenario, writing on Twitter, "Yo @jfujisports that was NOT funny!!! Hahahahaha!!!!!"
"Love this so much! @dariusrucker hates snakes... but who doesn’t,' Kelley, who was clearly pleased with the prank, adds.
Rucker and Lady A continue on the road together through October. "Reuniting this summer and heading back out on the road with my friends Lady Antebellum feels like a home away from home,” says the Hootie & the Blowfish star, who was recently honored with the ACM Gary Haber Lifting Lives Award at the 2018 ACM Honors in Nashville.
Rucker recently invited Kelley, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean to be a part of his cover of the Drivin' N Cryin' hit, "Straight to Hell."
Nope, There's No Way These Country Singers Are 50!
